Dr. Shepherd Needed Back at Grey's?

So, Chyler Leigh is due with her 3rd child in May (a girl) and now there is news that Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery are expecting their first child together.

The question is will Derek and Meredith be expecting a baby on air? Will Shonda Rhimes decide to write Ellen's pregnancy into the Grey's storyline for next season or not?

And boy, I need to get back to my knitting and Grey's watching...how are the rest of you all doing out there?

Last week

I have to admit that I have not been very good about watching Grey's on Thursdays. I just haven't been home and if I have, I've gone to bed. I have, however, been watching it online.

Last evening I finally caught up. So what do you think of Christina's decision? And wasn't the vent scene really neat. I know I enjoyed it. She was actually laughing.

And what is it with that wacko surgeon? Can't stand her.

Do you think that Izzie has jumped the shark? I mean, seriously, she is getting as wacko as the new surgeon! Although, when she joined Alex and then looked up at Denny, I think maybe she is back and he is gone. Just too weird and don't like the Denny story line. If they wanted to bring him back, they should have brought him back as another patient with a heart problem and have her have to relive the whole decision process again. Now that would have been a great story line . . . would she make the same mistake . . . would he die, again?

Thank Goodness for DSL and Online Video Streaming!

So, I was away at a conference on Thursday and had to miss Grey's Anatomy. Then my brand new laptop decided to get persnickety and I ended up taking it back to the store for some maintenance. Hopefully I'll hear about it by next week. So, I was in a dither about missing "Grey's Anatomy", but lucky for me I have a back up laptop with DSL-yeah.

Saturday, I got onto the Internet and video streamed the Greys' episode and it was good! Much better than some of the other episodes so far this season (I thought). Miranda trying to give Callie lesbian v-jay jay advice was just classic! I am liking how they are going slow with the Callie/Hahn romance. Although I do wonder at times why we never saw Callie's dad come out after she divorced George. And how he might feel about her new situation will be an interesting upcoming episode I hope.

I loved the whole Dermatology as paradise analogy. It totally linked into a previous comment Christina made (I think back in Season 3) about her not wanting to be thrown in with the zit squad instead of the surgery group. For a few minutes there I honestly thought she was going to decide to go into dermatology instead of surgery! Too funny!

I like how things are progressing with Derek and Meredith and Izzie and Alex. Now if George can only figure out that Lexi likes him, things would fall into place. I'm so waiting for a new episode with McArmy and Christina again too-hoping that will happen.

Anyway, it was a fun episode with lots of plot, subplot, and I'm just glad I had my laptop and DSL connection so I could stay in the loop! Wouldn't want to miss any Grey's Anatomy!

As the excitement builds.....

Who am I kidding, it's been building all summer!

I'm very eager to see how Yang does with this new guy (he's from a short-lived series called Amsterdam) who seems very much her type. And thank goodness Chief got fired up about being #12 when they used to be #2; this means change will be happening people!

Seriously, I love Bernadette Peters.

As I watch Grey's, I knit an afghan for my friends who got married just a few weeks ago. I was being picky about the yarn so of course didn't find the perfect match until the week before the wedding and there is no way I'd be able to knit an entire afghan in 1 week. So I told them the wait will be worth it, trust me. I don't have pics yet, but I need to document this thing in stages so hopefully will have some soon.

I'm also finishing up a hat to complete my fingerless gloves, scarf and beanie set I have made for myself. I'll get pictures of those up soon, too.

Not much grey in my knitting, but that's okay, right? It's the thought that counts, ; ).

Grey's Anatomy Season 5 KAL

Good morning all!

Sorry it has been so long since I posted anything. I have updated this blog to be the Season 5 KAL.

We need Season 5 buttons!!! I have put out generic buttons (scroll down along the side). But they are just Grey's Anatomy buttons without the Season 5 added. If anyone is interested in creating a button, send it to me and I will post it.

I was at a seminar and missed the first episode (can you believe it) and then I was so excited to be home last evening . . . and they had the debate . . . priorities people!!!

OMG! Cristina has a Crush!-Literally!

Wow---Ms. Rhimes---how you do know how to suck us all in and set us up for a seasons worth of episodes!

1) Can Mer/Der make it work or will Mer (or Der) get cold feet?
2) Derek, Derek, Derek....never tell a woman you've slept with and dumped that she is the one who has to give up her job.....that is just asking for trouble
3) Okay, am I the only one who thought of Ryan Adams song "Cuts Like a Knife" when Rose "accidentally" cut Derek in the OR...severing all ties-indeed!
4) To drop from #2 to #12 in the ratings @ SGH, Shondra were you trying to let us know that you last year was not the best season and things will only get better from here?
5) Seriously, getting Izzie and Alex back together-that was a good combination. I hope it works, they are both damaged enough in their pasts to make a good couple.
6) Okay, did anyone else like that McSteamy was totally teasing Lexie about George...too cute!
7) So, Callie and Hahn, that's going to be an interesting development this year.
8) I think they are trying to soften Hahn up as well-time will tell.
9) Okay, so Lexie and Meredith DEFINITELY need to have a talk about George!
10) The number one reason we all might be tuning in to watch Grey's Anatomy this season.....Cristina and Triage Doc!

Seriously people, Seriously. What a way to make Cristina instantly fall for a guy....the staples in the leg without any pain meds....you know the whole time in her head she was thinking "This Guy is HOT!" Then to literally get crushed by some falling ice and he swoops in and sweeps her off her feet....he is definitely not Burke all calm and cool, he is impulsive and passionate and well so Cristina's type! A man of action, a doctor, a let's get in there and get the job done kind of guy.

Now all we have to do is come up with a nickname....let's hear some suggestions. McAction? McRescue? McHottie? (or was that already taken at some point?). Well, he's definitely McSomething...mmmmm

And what all are you going to knit this season? I've got a ton of yarn and the holidays are right around the corner. My goal, a scarf for my McMan and the Julia Robert's "Step Mom" hat for myself. Two easy projects to begin with and then I'll have to work on some present ideas. I think it's going to be a much better season than last year!
